Forest conservation and GHG emission reductions in Cambodia

The project focuses on avoiding GHG emissions from deforestation through forest conservation including ranger patrols and boundary demarcation, biodiversity monitoring alongside initiatives to improve local livelihoods through sustainable rice production, micro-credit programs, and scholarship distribution.

Distribution of 20 scholarships per year over the project lifetime
20 permanent jobs created and distribution of 8 micro-credit loans per year
Up to 11,6 mtCO2eq emissions avoided over 40 years
Conservation of 130,000 ha of forest and habitat of 43 IUCN threatened-species
